She got some sleep...

Hi this is Sherry..

Mom did good through the night. She said that she slept good and that she was glad to be home and out of that hospital bed.

She wanted a chia tea this morning from Starbucks! So Dad ran and got her one and now I think she wants some sherbert. She wanted sherbert yesterday but they said not yet. So today she can have that. And she said thanks for the surprise gifts and cards that have been left at the door!!

Sorry I don't have a lot to say but she is in good spirits and I know that you were waiting to hear how she is doing. So I or Stacey will write more later till she is feeling up to writing to you. Have a bless day!

Susie,
You look great! Thanks for the visit. Olivia enjoyed meeting you so she could see who she has been praying for. As Twila Paris sings, "Runner, when the race is won you'll run into HIS arms." All along, God has been spiritually preparing you for this marathon. Hang tough precious friend.

Yum, Yum. The hot Chai Tea that Tammie's mother in law taught her to make is out of this world! I am glad you are home with the people who love you the most. I am so grateful they were able to get all the cancer. You keep climbing that mountain girly!

Hugs,
Shawnie

Susie,

I know that this has been such an whirlwind for you! Working as an oncology nurse again reminds me of how good you have it. Your support system and God will sustain you. I can't presume to know what God's plan is for your life, but I know cancer patients, I know you, and I know our God. You will be victorious!

At our cancer center we are celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month, as you might expect. I wrote your name on a ribbon and tied it to a wreath for you. More important than that though, I've also prayed for you. I am also praying for the medical personel that treat you, that they may come to know God through your life and the lives of your family.

When you feel strong, may you climb mountains. When you feel weak, may you close your eyes and rest in God's hand.

love you tons!
(No baby yet, but it will be sometime this week!)

Susie,
I am so glad you did so well with the first step. Just a reminder that you have many, many people praying for you and your family. I am praying for Art, Stacey, Sherry and the little boys also. I know that you as a mom are also very worried about each of them. We serve an awesome and loving God. HE will help you get through each and every day.

Love ya,
Carla Hasper

Susie,
Every single time I think of you, I get choked up and tears flow. Mostly because I know that God has blessed you in a tremendous way. Only He knows the treasure He has in store for you, on this earth and in Heaven. I am sure that you are feeling the love and prayers that everyone is crying out to God for you, me being one. You can count on my prayers, daily and some almost every hour, because you are on my heart that much, as well as your family. Laugh and cry when you need to, because we are all doing the same thinking about you! Love you dearly,
Brooke
